To tidy up the interface, Unity have removed the Paint Height/Flatten, Raise/Lower Terrain and Smooth icons from the Terrain Inspector.
The options are still there, but they’re now all accessed via the paintbrush icon:


As you can see, there are a couple of new options here:
Create Neighbour Terrains does what you’d expect – it allows you to add a new Terrain, immediately adjacent to your existing one – but you can now seamlessly paint and sculpt the two where they meet.
There are quite a few changes in the background here – Terrains can look much better, and the new brush options are definitely worth playing with!
